Memento Mori: The Birth & Resurrection of Postmortem Photography

So, your family is in town this weekend and you need an escape? If you’re in Manhattan, you can hit up the Memento Mori exhibit at The Merchant’s House Museum. Running through November 29, the exhibit explores the death, and rebirth of postmortem photography in America.

Sure, it’s not exactly an exercise in merriment, but then again, generally speaking, neither is an entire weekend with the family, now, is it?
