Choose A Base For your dreadfall.

Yarn/Wool - Yarn and wool make extremely Light and fluffy dreadfalls. They're more delicate than synthetic reads, but offer a great "different" look.

Synthetic Hair - Synthetic hair is somewhat heavier than yarn and wool, but tends to look a lot more like "real" dreadlocks and come in ultra vibrant and UV colors. We steam our dreads to help keep them from sticking to your clothing and each other!

Dread falls can also be mixed media pieces (blending wool with synthetic or foam) to get unique looks with the best of both materials. Check out our gallery for some examples.

Choose A Color

Yarn/Wool - Yarn comes in just about every color and texture you can imagine, and wool roving gives you a great, realistic dreadlock look, while being a lot lighter weight than synthetic hair. Wool roving comes in these colors. If you want other colors, patterns, or textures, Email us with your color & texture requests and we’ll work with you to find them!

Synthetic Hair - Hair comes in these colors, though others may be available upon request. Colors can be blended or swirled and we can even match your natural hair color for natural looking dread falls. Don't see what you want? email us!

Extras

Foam - Foam is a very lightweight material that adds color and height to your fall. Foam comes in a rainbow of colors and can even be used as a base for your fall to create huge "anime" hair.

Plastic lacing - Plastic lacing is a bit heavy but can be made into a complete set of falls as well as being used for an accent. Lacing comes in both flat and "s'getti" (round) and is by far the accent that is chosen most often by our customers.

Ribbons, wire, tubing, etc - Occasionally Arachne’s Will employs ribbon, lace, tubing and other such goodies to make a masterpiece extra special. If you’d like to include any of these, or have an idea for a material you’d like to include, let us know! We’ll work with you to make it look fantastic!
 

Do you want one big dreadfall (a single or ponyfall) or do you want a pair of falls to make pigtails (that's what's called a "set")? Remember, pairs can be worn together to make a super huge pony fall when you want to make a big impression!

Length

Our falls come in three basic lengths. Mini, regular, and long. Mini are 6" or less and are great for accent pieces or covering short hair. Regular are 22" or less and fall below the shoulder. Long Falls usually go up to 36" and fall to the waist at least. Want an in-between size or something really unique? Fill out our estimate form and we'll let you know how much it'll cost.
